To be hungry (and grumpy) 5 hours from eating kui?

I eat breakfast at 7:15/30am, lunch at 12:30, so 5 ish hours between, no issues. But... If I'm not eating dinner by 5:30, 6pm at the absolute latest... I'm such a grumpy cow. Is this normal?

I can't work out what the difference is? It's the same time between meals?

Maybe I should just have a biscuit or banana or something at 4 to tide me over?

I tend to have eggs for breakfast. Maybe pasta Bolognese and salad for lunch. All similar portions.

Maybe I'll try a bit more protein and have a snack.

Hahah apart from the kui 🤣, try to get more protein and fibre in your meals - it will keep you full for ages.
I usually have breakfast around 9ish, at least 30-50 grams of protein, that keeps me full until 3ish, sometimes even longer, and then lunch again at least 40g protein in the meal and then usually I have a very small dinner around 8ish, well more like a snack dinner. Sometimes I don’t even feel hungry so just have some yoghurt/cheese with grapes or sometime.
but yes protein and fibre is your answer.

Maybe a different eating pattern would suit you better. Are you hungry in the morning? I find I’m not, so I don’t eat till lunchtime just teas and a milky coffee mid morning suit me. And then I can have lunch, a mid afternoon snack of something like blueberries, Greek yogurt and nuts and then dinner.
That sort of pattern may or may not suit you, and of course as others have said what you eat matters as well as when you eat it.

Not a Kui or anything related to dragons though. Dragon
