AIBU to worry about 15 month old

Hi everyone,
the anxiety is eating me up inside worrying about my daughter.
she’s just turned 15 months and is only just crawling. She doesn’t bear weight on her feet and isn’t pulling up to stand. Nowhere near walking yet. She was late with all her other gross milestones.
She can say ‘bye bye’ ‘ready steady go’ ‘so big’ and join in row row your boat by screaming at the end for the crocodile. When I sing twinkle twinkle she will open and close her hand.
when playing she will pass me the play phone to answer or give me a cup to pretend drink. But she doesn’t copy these actions herself.
She is very sociable, makes great eye contact, smiles and laughs at us and her big sister.
she makes a humming sound when eating but her older sister also did this. She also hums when she is concentrating.
I’m really worried because other children her age are running around, some can speak more words in context and follow instructions. I feel sick with worry and really don’t know what to do or think.
am I being unreasonable to worry?
thank you.

My son didn’t walk until he was 18 months old. Now he’s a strapping six foot 15 year old lad who plays football, basketball and also does boxing three times a week. Park run every Saturday.

Be kind to yourself. Your daughter sounds delightful. Let her go at her own pace.

I don't think there's anything really to worry about, but if you're concerned you can contact a health visitor for advice

Her level of speech seems fine but I would look into some physio as her gross motor skills would concern me. It’s the weight bearing and as you’ve said she’s been late with all of them. I know a toddler who couldn’t sit up unsupported age 1 but after physio he is now walking around etc at 2.

Not walking at this age isn’t an issue, but as she can’t bear weight on her legs yet I would speak to your GP. Might be something, might be nothing.

She may have low muscle tone (hypotonia) Was she a little late to sit too?
My DS2 couldn't sit (and was still floppy looking) at 1 and didn't walk til 2 because he had weak muscle tone. He did have physio and some orthopaedic boots but he got there in the end. He also didn't have any speech at all until he was over three... never shuts up now.
Speech wouldn't concern me at all...she sounds appropriately social :)
Honestly children (I have 4) really do develop at their own rates and it has very little bearing on eventual outcomes. It won't harm to get her seen re not weightbearing but please don't panic!
