hi there guys, im new here so hello to everyone i appreciate your help in advance.
i recently got a cat, about 3 years old, femail.. she has a runny tummy, now ive had plenty of cats before and the last cat had a urinary tract prob which was sorted with the correct food.ive given our new cat a woming tab just incase it was worms but she has runny toilet. im thinking its something in the food. the previous owner, no further contact, said she has whiskas wet food so we gave her that and its been runny, i tried felix, same thing, i found claudes which is from tesco, made in Ireland and i thought i cracked it but now its runny again.i think its a reaction to some ingredient in the food maybe. would you have an idea what i could try . thank you for your time..

Have you taken her to the vet? I think you need to check there's nothing else going.

Why are you shouting?

You'll get answers from knowledgeable people if you post in the Litter Tray.

And yes, you need to take the cat to a vet.

Take the cat to the vet. But also, if you’ve rehomed her recently it may just be stress and swapping her food about too much. Try and stick with one type for a while and see if it settles. But yes definitely a vet trip required!

Worming tablet from where? The cat needs a vet. Don’t use OTC stuff.

I think she definitely needs a health check by the vet incase there is something else going on. However, felix and whiskas are both very low quality foods. My cats love seriously good, appaws, feringa and scrumbles..Zooplus is great for ordering. Wild freedom is a good one if on a budget

Had similar with a cat we rehomed. Nothing found by vet and sensitive cat food made little difference. Vet then advised adding a spoonful of natural goats milk yoghurt to her food. Worked within days.

DCat had Whiskas for years but couldn’t eat the quantity of food that he was supposed to and it is very low quality food for an animal designed to be 100% carnivore.
Now on Untamed and just has 2 cans a day plus a little bit of dry food. He’s so much happier in himself, has lost some weight so more mobile and generally a much more content creature. I feel guilty that we fed him such rubbish for so many years we just assumed it was ok but it really isn’t good for them.
