And of course DD wanted them

She did not get them she ended up with Fairy Princess - but tbh I did not really want those either. Where can I buy nice baby pants?

that is naff i cant stand the bratz, it just encouraging kids to dress like adults.

woolworths and mothercare have upsy daisy ones for girls and i think asda has peppa pig

moondog · 11/05/2008 21:24

Lunacy

quint · 11/05/2008 21:26

you can also get nice plain or unbranded patterned ones from mothercare, any of the supermarkets, next etc. TBH I hate all of the branded underwear and it will be a long time until either DD gets any!

princessmel · 11/05/2008 21:26

dd has some Fifi ones from woolies. They fit best too. Nice and high up on the tummy and low cut legs. All the primark ones keep going up her bum. Too skimpy.
M and s do plain ones.

Tatterdemalion · 11/05/2008 21:27

Vile above and beyond the baseline level of revoltingness I attribute to Bratz.

M&S, mothercare all do standard pink pants with a white flower on jobby packs of pants.

squeaver · 11/05/2008 21:29

Horrendous

Try John Lewis

kerryk · 11/05/2008 21:31

my mum bought dd's lovely ones from tesco this week. pink pants with blue stitching etc. think some of them have little flowers on.

callmeovercautious · 11/05/2008 21:31

Thanks Ladies. Princessmel - don't tell me that! We were in Woolies at the time, no FiFi ones in her size - huge tantrum etc, then she wanted the Bratz ones

I must get online to find more - or venture out in this weather in the car for hours.... online I think

Next are great for knickers, all of dd1 and dd2's are from there, plain or block prints, no logos

and I got dd2 a pack from Adsa, 5 for £1.50 the other day when she decided to do a huge poo in the ones she was wearing

princessmel · 11/05/2008 21:34

oh no!! Woolies always seem to have different character pants. And I don't mind things on underwear ( dd has the odd Dora top but not much )

But now I'm thinking about it she has some Bratz ones. mil bought them for her. She never wears them though as mil got age 3. She was just 2 at the time. mil said the age 2 ones looked tiny. Well yes, dd has a tiny bum because she's 2

princessmel · 11/05/2008 21:35

I don't mind designs on pants though. dd loves choosing hers in the morning. She gets really excited about it!!

BarcodeZebra · 11/05/2008 21:38

Gah!

The word "prosti-tots" springs to mind.

Who, for God's sake, thinks that Bratz are appropriate for their child? I'm convinced the inventor must be a kiddifiddler.

H&M do good stripy and spotty pants...

MingMingtheWonderPet · 11/05/2008 21:48

Peppa pig ones from Asda popular here. Again, I don't mind character knickers, but wouldn't go all out character outfit.

fishie · 11/05/2008 21:51

am impressed with pants made in size 18m-2yrs, usually they are enormous and fall off ds. where can i get them?

nancy75 · 11/05/2008 21:52

no bratz are stepping foot in my house, on pants or otherwise, they are vile!

fishie · 11/05/2008 21:53

ooh no i read further and see woolies. there will be sweaty plastic

princessmel · 11/05/2008 21:55

Lots of places I think. m and s dora ones here

princessmel · 11/05/2008 21:56

If they do girls 18m - 2 yrs then they'll do boys ones too. Whats with the plastic?

DD likes her fifi and Peppa Pig ones. Also got some Dora Explorer ones in the M&S sale at the bargain price of £1 for a pack of five.

I think Bratz are utterly vile and if I can manage it they will not get over our threshold.

callmeovercautious · 11/05/2008 22:20

hatrick - the H&M shorts sound good.

I don't mind cartoons on things as such but on "first" knickers it was just a bit much. Especially those made up trolls.

Princessmel - I think the plastic is the printed logo - it is a bit rubbery.
