Toothache comes on in the evening?

Anybody else suffered toothache that gets way worse around 6pm onwards? May be a wisdom tooth moving or a problem with the tooth next to it.. and why does it get worse from the evening?

I can empathise with this! Same! Why is it worse in the evening??

To add, mine is a filling that needs fixing after another dentist cocked it up. Maybe we focus on it more in the evening because we're not as busy?

Are you sure it's toothache? Could it be that you're grinding your teeth in your sleep? This can cause your teeth to hurt on and off in the day and can be very painful. From someone who does grind their teeth and struggles with this, especially if I'm stressed.

I sometimes experience what feels like toothache but is actually jaw/neck tension. If you do some really gentle stretching of your neck, shoulders etc does it feel tight? If so maybe try stretching gently a few times during the day and see if it feels better that night

Also sinus pressure can cause tooth pain

Toothache at night is really torturous. One night a few years ago, I had a toothache and couldn’t sleep all night. The doctor said that the dental nerve was exposed and it hurt the most at night.

I would say sinus pressure when you lay down!
