How common is gibberish in a 2 year old

My daughter just turned 25 months
She has tons of words and use them to get what she wants and lots of 2/3 word combination but she still uses a lot of gibberish and I noticed it should have stopped by 2 and understand and follows through instructions

Thanks xx would you happen to know what questions should she be able to respond reliably at the this stage ? Like how are you ? What did you do today ? How old are you ?

I wouldn't trust any small child up to and including early school age to respond reliably to that sort of boring question tbh, even if they could.

@Toddlermama123 she might not want to hold your hand because she wants to be more independent now. She learned to walk and run and basically will want to go free. But obviously sometimes she will need to hold your hand to stay safe.
If you are just saying "hold my hand" she probably doesn't understand why. You need to be starting to explain why too her - "You need to hold my hand while we walk through the bus station because there's lots of people and we could get separated and you might not know where I am. We will hold hands so we can stay together."
As for conversations. You aren't going to get much at 25 months. Not yet.
The gibberish is her learning how to have a conversation. She won't know all the words she needs yet but will be mimicking how a conversation goes from watching adults (for example pretending she is talking on a phone).
Do you take her to playgroups/stay and play etc?
Do you see many children the same age as her.
Because all the other 25 months old will be very very similar. Not exactly the same. But seriously.....she sounds absolutely normal.

That I didn’t know !! I kept saying “ hold my hand “ . When she asks “ come out “ because she knows she is close to the playground I always say “ stay close to mamma “ and she doesn’t wonder off . I used to take to playgroups ( the church ones ) and she would play alongside other kids . A couple of days ago she met another kid ( around 4 ) who gave her a ball and my daughter gave her the ball back and they would play like that for a little while .
