It's just insane. Gold statues of Trump. Dollar bills raining down on kids on a beach. AI Elon Musk hanging out at the beach. And HE posted it on Truth Social so I can't hold on to the belief that it's just satire.

He previously did similar with a flame thrower in 2018 for his Boring company so it’s fairly standard behaviour from Musk. Although he wasn’t govt official back then!

I wonder if the people who made the video meant it as satire and are taking the piss out of Musk and Trump, but that has gone over Trump's head?

I've seen the pictures and I just can't bring myself to watch it. I'd like to think the vast majority of Americans would be mortified too but they voted him in so who knows!

I'm more and more convinced that trump won't be president for then next 4 years. I think section 4 of the 25th amendment will be triggered - not straight away, but probably before the midterms.

I think Musk made it, or got it made for him. Look how often it goes back to him, and he’s clothed unlike everyone else. And he sent it to Trump who then posted it. They’re treating this planet like their own personal soft play centre. It’s hideous.

So he is either extremely offensive(if he posted it) or extremely incompetent (if he didn't).

I was absolutely convinced this was fake and had to look it up on his social media myself. I know he's trolling us but this shit is terrifying. The guy is a madman and he has the nuclear codes.

See, I think it's trolling by someone else and he saw it and posted because he's known to do that through the night... but also I think Trump doesn't care; half or more of his followers won't realise it's trolling; they'll just skim it on their feeds and take it at face value. If you scroll through his feed (and I need eye bleach now I have), there are some really insane claims and commentary there - presumably, many of his followers like and believe all of that, too. I can't bring myself to register and look at the comments - but I bet they are fascinating insight into how his supporters think! Later in the US morning, they'll analyse the comments, and if most supporters are buying it, they'll keep it up. If the supporters don't buy it, they'll take it down.
