Posting for traffic.

It's washed and dried on the radiator and still covered in white hair! Guests coming this morning, will it come off in the tumble dryer??

I don’t know if a tumble drier will get rid of them, but I would buy a lint roller. Most supermarkets and dry cleaners should sell them. They gather up any amount of cat hair!

No, it won’t. You’ll need to lint roller it. Should get it all and it won’t take that long.

God I have one of those but it will take ages!

If there’s loads of hair, don’t forget to tear off the used paper regularly!

In my experience (pale Siamese, navy duvet cover) yes most of the fur comes off in the dryer. Just remember to clear the filter afterwards.

You can also sacrifice a velcro hair roller in the washing machine, that will catch a lot as it goes round. You can use them more than once too.

B&M sell an excellent pet hair dissolver which you pop in the washing machine along with usual washing liquid. And it really does work (Goth tendencies- two cats)

Balloonhearts · 25/02/2025 09:24

Have you tried weighing down the edges and hoovering it?

nodogz · 25/02/2025 09:27

If you put a Velcro roller in with your washing it picks up pet hair like very gross magic

H0PPLE · 25/02/2025 09:46

Thanks folks! I will get myself the other things but I have made it look a lot better with the Hoover and lint roller for now so thanks for the tips
