To feel a bit body shamed?!?

Basically a mate I've known about 4 years and see rather regularly always makes reference to my height. She's like oh I can barely see you you're so short. All the time. Aibu to call her out ?

I’m shorter than you. I’m the shortest of all my friends and the shortest person in my family.

I don’t ever feel shamed or criticised when someone mentions it, any more than I’d feel shamed if someone mentioned the colour of my eyes or something. It’s just a neutral thing to me.

I suppose if your friend mentions it every single time you see her it’s probably quite boring. But not shaming.

You have three options, which are 1) tell her to stop doing it, 2) just keep putting up with it or 3) stop seeing her entirely.

I’m 5ft3, thought it was average. I know I’m smaller than a lot of people in day to day life but I wouldn’t consider myself noticeably short… the only reason I’d like to be taller is so I’d look slimmer 😂 otherwise I don’t care so this wouldn’t cause me offence. But if it was constant I would probably say shut up now sue it’s getting boring.

Is the joke maybe that you're both pretty average height but you're a little bit shorter so she exaggerates to be humorous? Otherwise it doesn't make any sense. She's either sort of funny or a bit thick
