What's app group antics

FunnyKhakiAnt · 23/02/2025 17:03

I'm part of a what's app groups and don't know if I'm being sensitive or not

One man is 50:50 and he's suggested in the group chat that he's not seeing his child this weekend and would still be up for meeting this weekend.

The group is mostly single/solo mums.

Another time they were taking about children's parties and one member said that it's so difficult arranging as siblings want to come etc.

To which the group owner went on a long rampage on her saying that as she's a single mum than she bang out of order for saying that siblings of guests shouldn't be allowed to go to parties, it's hard enough being a single mum and she should understand.

Is this normal behaviour?

I don't understand the question.

roseymoira · 23/02/2025 17:50

Yes, people expressing different opinions is normal behaviour

Changingplace · 23/02/2025 18:12

I don’t understand any of that, what are you asking?

sanityisamyth · 23/02/2025 18:20

WhatsApp. One word.

I don't understand the question though.

ncduetooutingsituation · 23/02/2025 20:10

It sounds like a randomly assembled group of people, shoe horned into uncomfortable conversations.
Was it started by a MLM person?

LlamaDharma · 23/02/2025 20:11

Can you repeat the question?

Shubbypubby · 23/02/2025 20:32

What's the purpose of the WhatsApp group? Why is this particular group of people electronically assembled? Need more context to judge the content (although it does sound a bit too dramatic)?

Eldermilleniallyogii · 23/02/2025 20:36

So one is the at one of the days wants to come to a meet up without their child, is that right? When you will all have your children?

and the other one is it was once said the single mum shouldn't be questioned for bringing all her kids to a party?

and you're asking if this is normal?
