Missing UC payments, so worried, please HELP!!??

I have recently been moved from ESA to UC through managed migration.

I have not received my second payment of universal credit. In my journal it says “Receiving other benefits”.

I have disabilities and had previously received £480.10p twice a month.
My once a month universal credit payment has been £443.52p.

One the other hand, since migration, I have received twice monthly payments of £276.40p. I just assumed this was the Transitional protection payment making up the difference.

I am guessing it is that ESA payment which has caused the stopping of my universal credit?

I am also in receipt of PIP due to severe disablement. Might it be that universal credit did not add on my PIP premiums along with Transitional protection?

It’s really causing worry and sleepless nights, please someone help. Thank you very much.

Message on your journal

I have done so yesterday evening. I understand they only reply during the working week.

I am really stressed and would like to have some understanding of the situation so that I can respond appropriately when they reply.

It would also help me not to worry myself sick until then.

I’m not sure if my earlier post was clear, but my last UC was not paid.
This is likely to force me into serious financial hardship if it is not sorted out quickly.

Were you in the support group of ESA ? If so you should have the LCWRA element on your UC claim.
If the £276.40 fortnightly payments are being made seperate to your Uc payment it sounds like they are paying you contributions based ESA alongside your UC. It is highly likely that your ESA claim was made up of contributions based ESA topped up with income related ESA. When you migrated to UC only the income related part would stop and the contributions based continues to be paid to you separately to UC but deducted in full from UC.
So if you don't claim help with rent you would likely have standard element of £393.45 and LCWRA element of £416.19 on your UC statement making a total of £809.64 monthly. This amount may be higher if you have transitional protection added.
Contributions based ESA is paid separately at £276.40 per fortnight and this works out to an averaged monthly amount of £598.86 which is deducted in full monthly from UC. If the ESA is wiping out the UC then it may be that the LCWRA hasn't been added to your claim correctly ? can you check that you have your standard element and your LCWRA element listed on your statement? Assuming you are in the support group of ESA.
Any transitional protection would be listed on your statement not paid separately to UC.
There are no adult disability premiums on UC. Your transitional protection would have made up the amount if the total of your legacy benefits is higher than your Uc amount.

What does your payment statement show? It will have a breakdown of how your payment is calculated.

PIP doesn't give extra premiums on UC. Any entitlement to the additional LCWRA element will be based on your ESA claim and what transfers from that claim.

If you were in ESA support group prior to migration and the £416.19 LCWRA element is not on your statement then you need to leave a journal message under the option of ' payments' on the main body of your journal explaining that you were in the support group and asking for the LCWRA to be added under transitional regulation 19. It is often missed off on migrating, it is a common error on their part.

Hello I am in the same situation my support element hasn’t been given in my entitlement for 3 statements now. My case manager has several times raised and escalated it to relevant team but I’ve still not heard anything. Is there anything else I can do or just wait. Thank you.

Are you still receiving ESA? I'm in support group and just got migrated, but I still get ESA for about half the money and the rest is now UC.
Check your UC account and check you're still getting ESA by looking at your last payment.
Basically for some people they've made it more complex by splitting it between UC and ESA.
Have you written a query in your journal?

Call 0800 144 8 444 for citizens advice help to claim line. Tell them you think your first payment after receiving UC was incorrect, and now the second payment is too. You just want to check if the migration has worked properly for you.

If they find a mistake, they can help you fix it, including speaking to UC for you.

Have your payment statement handy and information about your older benefits if you have it (payment breakdowns, etc).

It sounds like your transitional elements havnt been put on properly, but also could be something else.
