How did you 'get your own back'?

Reading a thread earlier and it reminded me of something I did to get my own back.

This is meant to be a lightheaded thread to encourage other people to tell their stories btw...

Some scamming company kept sending my elderly mother 'gifts' that they then charged extortionate amounts of money for because she'd previously ordered one item from them. Think a 50p item from Temu and then charging her £10 for it.

I wrote to them and told them I'd take legal action if they persisted in sending any more of their crap to her when she didn't order it. Basically, remove her from your database and never send her anything again.

There was a short window where I sent the letter and they got the message. In that window they sent one final box of crap to her.

So, I packaged each individual item in separate flat boxes (small enough to fit in a postbox) filled with some sand in plastic bags to make them heavier. Threw a ton of glitter in every box and then posted them without a stamp in the hope that they'd pay excess postage, open.the parcels and get covered in glitter which would stay in their factory/office for ages!

Made me feel better...

I once did something similar. I sent a glitter bomb to someone who had behaved very badly towards me. I did it via a company who offer the service anonymously.

I really hope she opened it in her kitchen, the glitter would have gone everywhere.

I once sneaked a barbie doll into my cool much older teenage sister's school bag after an argument to try and embarrass her at school.

Honestly though I can't think of any examples since I was a kid... focusing on any kind of getting your own back is quite a negative emotion to feel isn't it?... I don't think it ever made me feel better.

After being dumped by my first love I sent a letter to Santa from him as I knew he would get a reply. He was 16/17 and had just started an apprenticeship at his family’s business (was like a mechanic, lots of older men). The families mail was delivered to the business so everyone would see him get a letter from Santa.
