to think about getting dd 11 months a sandpit tomorrow?

going on holiday soon, so i thought it may help dd get used to the sand, shes ben in the paddling pool this week and she loves it.

are sandpits horrendeously messy?
will dd just try and eat all the sand ?

thursday, the lids got gaps in it! how shit is that !

No I bought it from a local toy shop that was closing down - they didn't have the top so I bought two boats for a cover. Had to put a long nut/bolt through the ends though (db drilled holes for me) to stop the local cats using it as a dirt tray overnight. Nowt worse than opening up a sandtray to find sundried cat poo in it....

thursday next, i like that one, whats the cover like? any good?

If it has not already been said, make sure you get one with a lid and never leave the lid open or you will have every cat around pooping in it.

hi thur next, well i bought the turtl one as i wanted it now! and it was the only one i could get straight away.

dds been in it this pm and she loved it, didn't even try to eat the sand, whta a result, i may move onto one of the larger wooden ones, and flog the turtle one on ebay or use it as a ball bull or omething latr, but it good fornow
