Our son's (age 9) last tutor has just messaged me asking to leave a review WIBU just not to?

My reasons are that she was only his tutor for 3 months. When we first contacted her we informed her that DD had dyslexia and discussed his particular challenges which she said was fine. We then started working with her. 3 months later she got a new job and told us she'd need to move his day but then said she felt because of his dyslexia he'd be better with a different tutor and ended our contract with her.

Prior to this we'd had no issues - turned up on time, paid on time and DS was well behaved and worked hard. We felt it was all going well.

I feel that she used his dyslexia, which she previously said she was fine with, as an excuse to drop us because of her new job?

I just don't want to leave a review because it left us in a difficult position with no tutor part way through the academic year, and tutors around here are very popular.

Could you leave a factual review explaining what you've written here?

But yes, I hate being asked to leave reviews, particularly if you're going to have a continued relationship with the person/service, as there's usually an expectation it should be positive.

As above, leaving a factual, non opinion related review of what happened, with reasons given, may help others who may be in a similar position to yourselves.

Just don’t leave a review - you have no obligation. There are specialist dyslexia tutors available, but any trained teacher should be able to work with a dyslexic student. I’d just accept this one wasn’t very professional and find a different tutor.

I'd also leave a non-emotional review explaining what happened so that children with dyslexia don't book her and have the same thing happen.

Leaving a review should always be optional so YANBU to just ignore the request.
I suspect that it is likely that with fewer tutoring days being available priority was given to the students that she had been tutoring for longer.
I wouldn't leave a review, but I would let her know how uncomfortable the phrase about your sons dyslexia meaning that another tutor would be better made you feel.
