Modest swimwear Canary Islands

So I like to wear modest swimwear/burkini. Basically like a wetsuit but prettier and not as thick. Obviously it's swimwear material. I travel a lot and have been to countries where there's no problem.

Looking to book a holiday to one of the Canary Islands and just wondering if this will be a problem in hotel pools or the waterparks? Personally I don't care about people opinions and if they stare, it's more about if it's actually allowed. If it's not, then I won't be travelling to those countries. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience or seen anything

I'm my experience wearing swimwear leggings and tops, never been asked to leave, but sure have received stares from people

I think if your swimsuit clearly looks like a burkini then shouldn't be a problem : )

Always worn swimming leggings and long sleeve swim top (Really need the sun protection) and have had no issues at all- on beaches or at water parks. My outfits look a bit like a wetsuit made from swimwear material.

I think awareness of the danger of the sun is so much greater now, that’s increasing common for people to cover up.
