To think that manifestation works?

I'd love to hear your experiences if so!
I'd dearly love a life partner . I am 50 and divorced. I am setting intentions and doing all the recommended work .
I've had great success manifesting small sums in f money and good health outcomes so I'm just wondering 💭 f it's unreasonable to think it is absolutely a thing or just coincidental sillyness

Does it work for people in third world countries? No? Then it's very much to do with your access to advantaged anyway. It's just a way to focus your decisions and give you self belief.

I think believing in manifestation can be useful in the same way that believing you have above average luck can be.

Miaowzabella · 17/02/2025 11:07

Why would it work for small sums of money but not for large ones?

So
How would that work if I were to try to manifest a partner?

I guess it would just mean you had your eyes open to the potential with people you meet, and maybe mean you broaden your horizons in terms of taking part in activities where you might meet new people, etc. or maybe you'll notice someone who was there all along

I don’t get it.
is manifesting just a fancy word for doing things?

EveryDayisFriday · 17/02/2025 23:06

I see it more as: goals + focus = success = confirmation bias that it was 'manifested'.

My BF is very woo and always says the Universe will provide so she's a risk taker and things always happen for a reason, win or lose.
I'm the opposite, control freak who plans every tiny detail to the nth degree, scenario modelling all the what ifs so I'm never caught by surprise, every decision is cautious and measured.

Either one of us could say we manifested our next big decision, she manifested it rolling the dice for based on gut feeling, she goes with her heart. I would manifested it by playing out all eventualities and take the least riskiest option, going with my head.

I don't know much about manifestation but the observer effect is a studied phenomenon in physics.

Perhaps manifestation has a similar influence on events, as observation does on the behaviour of electrons?
