To be worried about this DC

Every morning we drive past a primary school that my DD goes to. Every single morning there is a mum and she is shouting at her daughter. It's been going on for a few weeks now, without fail, she is shouting at her daughter, in her face, pointing finger, really aggressive look on her face. If it was a one off I wouldn't think anything of it but its every morning and the girl looks scared of her mum and backs away and has a scared look. I would say she is about 7. I am worried about her but obviously don't know her name or anything. Aibu to think something should be done about this?

Maybe speak to the head of the school about what you've seen.
They might already have concerns about her.

The mum is screaming aggressively in the face of her daughter at the exact moment you drive past? Every single morning? For a few weeks? Without fail? You've caught there every day for a weeks in the seconds it must take you to drive past?

Really?

You can report any safeguarding concerns to a staff member of the school

Yes I know it sounds weird but I drive past at the same time every morning, as I pass that school on the way to take DD to her school and so always see them in a school morning. And honestly her mum is always having a go at her, obviously I don't know what about, but her mum always looks angry and shouting at her about something and the girl always looks scared

I'd speak to the school. Perhaps they already have safeguarding concerns.

After Sara Shariff's death I'd rather report than not report now.

Can you pull your car over and film them? Then at least when you report to the school you have proof of what you've seen and it will aid them in identifying the child?
