my 10yr old is on a no-sleepover tonight.
Its my way of boycoting sats!

well Sats matter to me cos they matter to my daughter, she is not on course for a 5 or anything. They will be hard for her and i don't want her to be disadvantaged by being exhausted.

i'm relieved at least 25% of people have agreed with me. AS mentioned I did retract my refusal yesterday, but by which time she didn't want to go to sleepover!
so the thought of SAts all week might have clouded her enjoyment.
i don't like sats, but she is doing them, aside from taking her out of school, i can't do anything about it.

To take them out of school when they have been preparing for them for 9 months would be a bit unfair on them! It makes it all a bit pointless.
