Any help on NHS for ovulation

Hi, we’ve been TTC for nearly a year, we already have a 3 year old. I was diagnosed with PCOS a couple months ago I went to the doctor with irregular periods. It was abit of a shock as we wasn’t actually trying when I got pregnant with my son. The doctor basically said you’ll probably conceive naturally but was wondering if I should go back to the doctors and see if they can give me something to help with ovulation as I’ve not had a period in a couple months now so obviously not ovulation. I’m 34 and a healthy weight. Any advise would be great. Thanks

Some areas don’t offer help for those where either partner already has a child. Some might offer a referral to fertility for testing and ovulation medication.
Our area does help those with children, but only ovulation meds and not IVF.
You may be able to find out online what help you are entitled to. Fertility treatment is a very unfair postcode lottery unfortunately.
My GP didn’t directly do anything other than the referral and everything was via the clinic (scans, husband semen analysis, HSG examination and various blood tests)

Thanks so much for your reply, I have been looking online but can’t seem to find anything for my area. I’ll book an appointment and ask anyway. Cheers
