Friend at it in the kitchen??

DoYouFeelLikeAPlasticBag · 10/02/2025 17:22

Haven't seen a friend for a while so she came over to visit today and brought food and her new boyfriend along with her so I could meet him. From what she had said he seemed okay but he didn't talk at all.

About half an hour in she decided she was going to put a pizza on and the boyfriend followed her though the kitchen. Fine.

Anyway, after about 5 mins she hadn't come back in and I could here 'whispering' so went in to see if she needed help or anything. Turns out.. they were at it over the side!!

She pretended it was nothing and tried to act normal but I told them to take the pizza home and carry on their afternoon in their own house.

They both stormed out.

Was I being over the top? I'm all up for everyone loving a shag but I've never wacked my pants down at lunch at my mates?

I would say I don't believe it but if Kanye West can get head in a gondola and Lauren Bobert can fondle her boyfriend in the middle of a performance of Beetlejuice why can't Sharon from down the street shag Silent Bob in the OP's kitchen?

HelpMeGetThrough · 10/02/2025 17:36

He was strumping her over your kitchen worktop?

Well, the world hasn't half changed in my time.

UndermyShoeJoe · 10/02/2025 17:32

Even as a teenager and drunk never shagged dh in a friends / friends parents kitchen 😅 bathroom maybe 👀 but that’s brazen.

Id avoid her for a while rather than become involved in their kink.

I could understand an 18 year old thinking they can get away with a quicky somewhere they should but she's 33😬

😄😄😄😄😄 omg op you've made me laugh

You are defo not being unreasonable

They're a mess 😭

Fouradayistoomuch · 10/02/2025 17:38

I think you are extremely unreasonable to interrupt their humpypumpy.
I hope you apologised for barging into the kitchen unannounced.

UndermyShoeJoe · 10/02/2025 17:39

At 33 it was definitely part of a kink and exhibitionism.

She wouldn’t step foot in my house again with or without him. I say that because next thing you know she’s sexting him of the sofa while you’ve gone for a pee.

jeaux90 · 10/02/2025 17:39

JFC she sounds like she has really unhealthy boundaries!

Thirteenblackcat · 10/02/2025 17:26

Are they going to pay for a deep clean of your kitchen?

Edited

A valid question lol

DoYouFeelLikeAPlasticBag · 10/02/2025 17:41

I was wondering if she would message me apologising but there's been nothing yet. I would have died from embarrassment if that was me.

Mumof2girls2121 · 10/02/2025 17:42

is your friend like this normally? Or is a change in her since she started seeing him?

TomatoSandwiches · 10/02/2025 17:43

So unsanitary.

sparepantsandtoothbrush · 10/02/2025 17:44

As if anyone actually believes this happened ffs

She's never really had a proper boyfriend before so it was the first time me really meeting someone she was actually with. Whenever she's been before she's been fine and I'd say one of my closest friends. We tell each other a lot but there has never been a chat about a chance of humping at each others houses.

What the hell... gross... and they stormed out!! The nerve of being annoyed at you... good riddance to them

MissUltraViolet · 10/02/2025 17:49

She’s picked an absolute prize there. Is awkward/rude and doesn’t talk when meeting someone new but will happily sneak off for a shag on their kitchen counter while they are sat in other room.

He wouldn’t be welcome in my home again and I am a ridiculously chilled and laid back person! I’d also be expecting an apology from my friend.

I am much older so have forgotten the days when passion overcame comfort. 'Just popping a pizza in the oven' means something else nowadays obviously.

it's shocking but you do have a good turn of phrase, OP!
he sounds like a right catch, constantly handsy, rude and without the ability to make basic conversation. Good luck to them!

evtheria · 10/02/2025 18:08

Both amused and disgusted, I can't believe they weren't even embarrassed or apologetic about it! I too would have not wanted the pizza, OP.
My verdict is an extremely drawn out, nasal vocal fry "ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww" right now.

Fountofwisdom · 10/02/2025 18:43

Disgusting, disrespectful behaviour in your home. That would be the end of the friendship for me. No going back from that.

I think it’s about to become the mumsnet version of ‘discussing Uganda’!
