Seven days to detox my liver ..

btphone · 07/02/2025 18:46

I have an ultrasound next week , and am concerned that due to a couple of heavy, fatty meals along with plenty of alcohol for celebratory nights out , my liver will show itself to be inflamed or worse , damaged. I do t want to postpone the ultrasound.
Is it possible to detox or help detox this organ in a Week and if so, how please?

Why are you wanting to manipulate the test not find issues with your liver?

This post is so weird.

btphone · 07/02/2025 21:10

Who is trying to manipulate the test !!
I simply stated that I had a heavy week of fatty food and alcohol and was worried about results.
That is not my norm so wanted to know the best way to get my liver back to normal for the scan.

Coffee is good for livers. No alcohol obviously. Water, lemon juice. I think you help a bit in a week.

No it’s not.

Mine went from fatty to not fatty at all with no weight loss. I think it may’ve been because of multiple antibiotics last year.

No it’s not.

The British Liver Trust agree with me.

I was 4 stone heavier, another half stone to lose and then I'm at healthy bmi x

There must be a reason you are having an ultrasound on your liver? I would suggest not trying to change it in a week, if there is something 'wrong' you need it to show.

btphone · 07/02/2025 22:00

It's an abdominal ultrasound . Dr said to outriule gall bladder or gastritis.
