To wonder why furniture delivery men used so much of my room spray

I know I probably sound completely mad. New sofas delivered today which was very exciting. I left the 2 men to it. When I came into the room when they said they were done they had clearly sprayed shedloads of my beautiful White company Myrrh room spray. Why would they do this?
a) wanted to see what it smelt like
b) wanted to create a nice ambiance for me when I came into room
c) had smelly feet or a bit of a farty bottom
d) something else
i was obviously far too polite to ask them why but now I need to know. I could phone him and ask as he phoned this morning to say he’d be 10minutes!

I'm surprised the delivery men took their shoes off. When I had something delivered, on the invoice it said the men had to wear safety shoes. You wouldn't want to drop the end of a recliner sofa on your toes,

Yes, usually trades type people have to wear safety shoes but sometimes have those shoe covers, I have never had any tradesman or delivery person take their shoes off as they are usually delivering something large to come inside your house.

I’m hoping at least it’s back in the autumn as a Christmas scent as it’s definitely not available anywhere now.

Yes those blue over sock things are normal definitely but they left their mangy trainers in the hall. Not safety boots

Last time I moved the moving guys smelt strongly of weed. Maybe these ones took a smoke break.
