Music during the day time?

Every fecking time there is the slightest hint of sun, my lovely neighbours take it upon themselves to blast out "cheesiest 80's" or "chaviest dance". I live in a U shaped block of flats with me and neighbour being opposite tips of U with wide expanse of grass inbetween. Am I being unreasonable to be annoyed by this? I can't open my windows or sit outside without being acoustically accosted by Celine Dion or Nicklewankyback.

I am not against her playing music but why the fuck should I have to listen to it, feel sorry for the people above and around her. I was going to send dp go over and have a word, but as it isn't all the time or at night etc I'm not sure if I'm being unreasonable. Why do people have to play music at such a volume? I would never dream of subjecting random people to my weird eclectic tastes. Hmmph don't really want to go through the summer dreading seeing the slightest flicker of sun.

Nothing pisses me off more than having to listen to other peoples music what ever the time of day to be honest, its on a par with people letting their dogs bark continually. it is selfish and downright rude inflict your music on anyone. I hate it, i've already had it out with my neighbour about it this year.

Op yaNbu !

i did this yesterday - so sorry neighbours. I put the radio on because i was working in the garden and then forgot to turn it off
DP came home and said it was really loud - i think that is the problem, you often dont tend to realise how loud it is when you are listening to the music and enjoying it. So have a word, if she is reasonable, she will turn it down - if not, put the hose on her
