Thankfully Aziza has been found. (Added by MNHQ at request of the OP)… to ask any London-based Mumsnetters to help find my missing cousin?

Thankfully Aziza has been found. (Added by MNHQ at request of the OP)

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/west-end-theatre-seven-dials-cambridge-theatre-b1208650.html

My cousin Aziza went missing during a theatre trip in London with family yesterday. She has learning difficulties and I suspect just decided during the intermission that she wanted to leave and walked out without speaking to anyone.

She has no coat, phone, or money and it has now been more than 24 hours in freezing temperatures.

We are working closely with the police but would welcome any help in spreading the words in case someone remembers seeing her.

Here is the Met Police tweet if anyone is on Twitter/X and is happy to share for reach: x.com/metpoliceuk/status/1886133033230606604

This must be so worrying for you and your family. I hope Aziza is found soon, safe and well.

Starseeking · 02/02/2025 21:36

Similar thing happened to my 7 year old autistic non-verbal DC when childminder turned their back for 2 minutes. DC was found about 15 minutes away from home, having been followed by a kind member of the public who noticed their vulnerabilities, called the police and waited near DC so as not to frighten them.

I hope you get good news soon.

@FindAzizaDaley My 4-year old daughter is autistic and non-verbal and reading this just made my heart break. I’m praying your cousin is home soon safe and sound, I can’t imagine the anguish you and your family must be feeling.

Are there any arranged searches for her?

WhollarBill · 02/02/2025 21:45

Bump.

There doesn't seem to be much on Facebook about her but I have shared the London Evening Standard's post.
I also follow Missing People on Facebook and if you go to their website https://www.missingpeople.org.uk/get-help/report-a-missing-person there is a link to get their help with a public appeal.
