Is this GDPR breach

A complaint has been lodged with my employer about a comment I made on social media (not upheld!). This complaint has come from the head teacher at my son's school and he has identified himself as such (fine) but then goes on to identify me as a parent (which has no relevance to his complaint) am I right in thinking this is a breach of GDPR? It is no business of my employers where my son goes to school.

No I didn't. I wrote one comment, one comment. He has had several allegations about me.

I would try to let things rest and not complain about GDPR breaches if any particularly as the complaint made about you at work was not upheld so you are in the clear there.

So let it go unchallenged that he has potentially breached data and sent malicious and false allegations to my employer about me?

@Harass3d You've had some good responses on here, especially from @Katrinawaves. You've also had some batsh1t crazy ones!

This HT has singled you out and is attacking you, which absolutely is bullying and misuse of his position. He has also, inadvertently done you a favour and handed you the evidence. So, doing nothing isn't an option now. Breathe and plan your next steps carefully! Do you have an EAP at work? You might be able to access some free legal advice.

what could he have possibly alleged in addition?

Is your son unhappy at the school?

I'm not in Scotland but quickly googled and schools have something called Parent Council and Education Scotland. . I would complain to them but they might say got through the HT first .

My points would be

1. How did HT find my employer ?
2. Point X, Y Z is not true. Is he in the habit of lying
3. I expressed my opinion in a private forum. I am entitled to my opinion.

I don't see how he's breached GDPR at all @Harass3d
If there's only one school in the area and all children go there what is the issue with your employers? It's obvious where your child goes and has no bearing on this.
If he's the only secondary HT in x town and you're on FB saying how terrible he is, then it's screenshot by a friend and she says that @Harass3d is an OT you know, I'm sure NHS staff aren't allowed to say things on FB, NONE OF THIS IS IN ANY WAY A PROFESSIONAL GDPR breach.
It's just common knowledge, and gossip.

One HT
One health board
He's just annoyed with you and making his point. It's upset you. But he won't be able to go and make a whole lot of pronouncements on FB to defend himself as that is forbidden for teachers.
Let it lie because by now the entire county probably considers you an utter mentalist.

@Spanglemum02 parent councils and education Scotland don't deal with complaints.

He has made other allegations within his complaint that I haven't disclosed on here. Lots was probably an excessive word. He has made 3 allegations against me, none of which are true as verified by my employer. I haven't stated what they were on here but it was referencing my suitability to my post. One in particular could have potentially been very damaging, again none of these have been upheld by my employer.

Is your son also very very unhappy at the school op?

Has the school ever reported you to social services?

How would this work? Unless he actually signed the son's records every time he accessed them I don't see how OP could tell by looking at a copy.

Pretty sure it's also forbidden for teachers to make up false statements about people and present it that person's employer as fact?!

It would be bizarre for an entire county to conclude I was a mentalist based on my one comment on one person/school in the area. Stranger things right enough.
