To expect people on Ebay to decribe some bags as microscopically small..

2nd time in as many weeks I've bought a bag from ebay - always described as "great for shopping" or "wonderful for holidays" only to receive them and find them to be almost microscopic in size.!

I've given one of them to my 4 year old DD - its a hippo-bag (in that it looks like a hippo) but 98% of its internal surface area is taken up by padding. She carries a lipgloss around in it. If I was using it for shopping or holidays as described in the ad, I've want to put a darn sight more than a lipgloss in it..! Literally space for 1 key and a lipgloss, you couldn't even get the tiniest purse in it..!!

I know the bags might not sell as well if they were described as "completely minute", but they would at least be accurate..

If the dimensions of something like that aren't described in the listing, it's always best to send a question to the seller before bidding to check what size it is.

And demand your money back if it isn't as described.

No YANBU. Having done the same myself recently I think words like 'big' and 'small' need to be taken with a pinch of salt and only actual measurements can be relied on. I have tended to buy only bags where they have a picture of the insides as well.

Size is relative really. One person's big handbag is another's adequate handbag, especially for me who carts around much to much stuff .

I agree, if they dont give the dimensions then I think you have to assume it is probably very small.
