Worried about ovarian cancer at 29

Hi lovely ladies
I am 29 years old and have been suffering with bladder problems for 2 years now since giving birth .
I wake up every 3/4 hours every night to pee , not much during the day . I still try and drink a good amount of water . Over the last 2 days I had slight bloating in my lower tummy and have worried about ovarian cancer. I still need to pee every two hours and there is a good amount of pee , not cloudy . No fatigue , huge appetite and no weight loss but every time I try and go to sleep the feeling of urgency takes over and can’t sleep well . Bloating is not painful just slightly uncomfortable and makes me burp a little bit . Go the gp tomorrow and hopefully get some answers
Anyone with similar symptoms?

Ovarian cancer is comparatively rare AFAIK. But you are right to go to the GP and get it checked. Do you drink a lot of tea. That can cause excess wee-ing.

Nope not anymore .. just 1 cup of espresso in the morning . I guess I am more worried now that I am a mom xx

Have you seen a GP at all since the issues started? Definitely get checked if not.

Puppupandaway · 29/01/2025 16:45

Have you tried restricting your liquids a few hours before sleep? Does it make a difference? I know that if I drink too much water when taking my nighttime tablets, I have to go to the toilet in the night. I'd be more concerned if you were waking to go to the toilet and then passing very little urine. Hope you get some answers from the gp.

If the symptoms only started since you gave birth, this would surely be a more likely cause than ovarian cancer. Gp appt sounds like a good idea.

I would work on my pelvic floor, it may make a difference.

Definitely get checked out by the GP. But it sounds more like a pelvic floor issue since birth if that’s when it all started. Can also be hormonal. You’re younger than me but I started needing to go to the loo lots more especially at night when I hit my 40s and it was definitely hormonal.

Cutting caffeine and avoiding drinking too much water in the evening can help.

Also every 3-4 hours at night isn’t that unusual. If you sleep for 7/8 hours that’s only once or twice max?

I won’t tell you how often I get up but it’s lots more than that!

Could it maybe be a sign of diabetes? Hope u get it sorted soon OP
