Norfolk? or a centre parks? We’ve never been away before with ds.

What about a holiday park? We are taking dd18m to a holiday park in Devon in June, which has pools, and lots of fun activities for little ones!

Haven sites are good for toddlers and there are three sites in Norfolk
Also kids seem to love Butlins.

When our kids were little we would go to Haven. The kids loved it. The entertainment is good for small children. Now my kids are a bit older we go to Butlins. The entertainment is a bit more risky. They have adult jocks thrown in and the costumes are a bit more revealing. Haven is definitely more young child friendly. It's U rather than PG.

Haven. Any of the Norfolk ones are nice. Caister has the best beach.

I would save CP for when they’re older and can enjoy the activities and cycling more. It’s very over priced for a 2 year old.

Seashore Haven has an amazing indoor splash park perfect for a toddler.

We loved CP when our DC were small and we could afford to go midweek during term time, so cheap when all you need is the playground and the pool. It's great when they're older too and can enjoy more of the paid activities but becomes very expensive so we stopped going

We did center parcs with my just turned 2 year old last May - it was lovely but I would say there isn’t as much to do for younger children. We have also been to Butlins 3 times which we absolutely love (and this is coming from someone who thought Butlins would be her worst nightmare 🤣). There is SO much for children to do that it takes a lot of the parenting on holiday stress away. We also always book the dining plan which is really good value, loads of options and it’s buffet style so no waiting around to feed hangry toddlers.

I think it really depends on your expectations and how much entertaining your toddler needs. We go to Elveden with a toddler quite often. Two is a funny age for activities. They’re too old for the baby stuff but not quite old enough to do lots of the other stuff aimed at children. If you want them to be booked onto activities every minute of the day, it’s probably not the best age to take them. But, if you just want a lovely relaxed holiday, where you can go on walks and bike rides, and just have fun together, then I think you’d enjoy it. The Pirate Cove in the swimming area is great (and free). There’s a mini beach there. Feeding the wildlife is great. There are things like Baby Dolphins and various messy plays etc. There’s a fantastic park and there are small soft play areas in most of the restaurants. Plus they can join in on things like crazy golf and the interactive squash wall, boat hire etc. There are loads of You Tube vlogs you can watch to decide which is the best time to go. We always do December because they’re very good around Christmas time (Santa based activities sell out very quickly). But all year round has its positives. It can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be. The positives of having a two year old is that you can benefit from the out of term time prices. I wouldn’t do more than one activity a day or you’ll find yourself rushing around. If you’re happy with bike rides, picnics, swimming etc, you don’t need to book anything at all. We do a shop before we go and then top up on fridge stuff at the supermarket down the road before we check in.

We also do Butlins in Bognor Regis. Not my idea of fun, but the toddler loves it.
