A female journalist has been asked to write a story for the Mail on pupil-on-pupil sexual abuse in PRIMARY schools as it's on the rise.

She's hoping to speak to a parent ANONYMOUSLY whose child has been a victim of this. If you can please share this post far and wide to family, friends, groups etc and if anyone would be happy to speak to her IN CONFIDENCE

She can be contacted on [email protected] for more details

I had this message via one of my Womens Rights Network WhatsApp groups and can vouch for Jill's trustworthiness.

Jill Foster is a great journalist, not afraid to take on tough and controversial issues and a proper feminist. I hope she gets some responses, this is such an important issue.

It would be interesting to have some examples of the type of incidents we are talking about here. I suspect that incidents that could once have been ignored, considered to be just children being children or boys being boys, or just punished without being reported, are now being reported as sexual assault, and that could be leading to this “increase”.

Going by threads on here, incidents that would have just been accepted or punished (but go no further) when I was at school, are now being called “assault” or “sexual assault”. Not commenting on whether this right or wrong but an increase in reporting could be misunderstood as an increase in incidents.
