Faint line after morning after pill.

Hope anyone can give me some advice.
i had unprotected sex with my partner on the 8th december and got the morning after pill on the 9th december. I had my period on the 25tb december to the 1st of january 2025. This was heavy but nothing unusual for me. I have had a bad flu over this last week and felt poorly at work so i did a test just to rule out anything and a faint positive came up? What does this mean? Anyone experienced this.

Hahaha might start refering to my 13 year old as my "morning after pill"... Probs not to his face ,😄

Could it have nothing at all to what happened in Dec OP ? Your period finished two and half weeks ago. Could you be pregnant since then? I’d expect a Dec pregnancy to show more strongly on the test for a start. And having your period in the meantime makes me think this is a more recent pregnancy. Is that possible?
I’d advise doing a test that tells you how far along you are.

This is also the only thing what is confusing me to also, i thought id have a very strong line considering id be further along from them dates. Ive not had any other times since apart from first week in january but it was protected sex for definate. So no other times apart from the above dates and the dates i got the morning after pill. It was definate like a period i had as my periods are heavy anyway. With being unwell with the flu i felt off so i just wanted to rule out everything. Im going to try and get a clear blue today just for more confirmation. Im also not late on my period yet if i go off the 25th of december as one, ive still got another 13/14 days. Thankyou for your response its makes me feel more sane when im questioning things x

I thought you said you were due your period on 23/24 though?
Maybe you ovulated earler than expected this cycle? First week in Jan would work for the result you’re getting now. Protection is never 100%. I’d say just do the test to help with dates.
