All electric flat, freezing cold bathrooms

Am wracking my brains for a solution to this.
There are heated towel rails which hardly make a difference.
Don't think there is room on the walls for a fan heater type heater.

Is my quest for warm bathrooms futile?

I have always lived in flats and houses with gas central heating and the bathroom was always cold regardless of size of radiator. So I'd love to know the answer.

You could bring a little halogen heater or oil filled radiator in there to warm up the bathroom a bit more (these do cost, but the mini radiator not quite so much) before using it.

I have underfloor heating right now which helps as well when it's on in the mornings.

I lived in a flat with only storage heaters. It was a complete pain. In the end, I made sure the corridor was warm and left door open so bathroom wasn't cold.

I also got an oil radiator with timer settings so it could warm up bathroom in morning so it was nice and toasty when we had to get up for work/school/etc

I the towel rails are wired in on the electric couldn't you just have them replaced for wall mounted electric heaters ?

All the wiring should already be there. You will probably have to get specialist bathroom heaters though that are sealed and have them professionally fitted.

That’s not normal. We rented a new build flat with gas central heating which heated up very nicely, including the bathroom.

We had an electric heater over the door in the 70/80's with a pull switch. It was fab at warming the bathroom up!
