Pulling out of sale of Facebook market item

I was supposed to get a heat pump fitted and change radiators. I was sad as the radiators are the column ones, expensive etc.

Contractor turns up today, and the radiators are fine as already oversized. So I can keep them.

I've already advertised on Facebook marketplace and taken a deposit. The deposit wasn't my idea, it's a landlord who wanted them.

I now have to tell him they aren't for sale.

Aibu?

I feel so bad

You're not being unreasonable, just message him and say no longer being sold. Don't go into explaining why,

I need to return his £50 deposit but he also traveled to see them. I didn't ask for a deposit and really shouldn't have taken one... :/

A quick message and it's done.
"I have just been told that the radiators are compatible with my new system. Sorry to have messed you about. Can you ping me your bank details so I can refund?"
Literally don't give it another thought
