To ask for help in finding a weekend away for me and DH

My DH and I have had a tough time recently (username is a clue!). Young kids that still aren't sleeping properly, issues caused by the absolute wanker of a builder and my health condition has flared up which has caused for a depressing January.

So I'm looking for a weekend away-Friday night and Saturday. Parameters are:
-£500 budget
-Somewhere Surrey/south London area
-Relaxing location (perhaps spa hotel)
-No kids (we're going to palm ours off to in laws!)
-Activities/things to do that are not too physical!
-Lovely food either at hotel or nearby
-Things to do in walking distance

I'd love some recommendations as I've started to look and am a little overwhelmed but may be my current emotional state!
Thanks so much Mumsnet

Denbies Vineyard Hotel? It's near Dorking in Surrey. They do package stays that include a 2 course dinner, breakfast, and a wine tasting session (if you click 'book now' and then pop your dates in, the available packages will come up. I put in 7th-8th Feb and it's priced at £218.) Denbies Vineyard Hotel Surrey | Denbies Wine Estate. There's also a spa for an additional cost.

@xmasdealhunter thank you so much for your kind reply. This is exactly the sort of thing I'm after but unfortunately we live almost round the corner from Denbies and often go for walks through it so I think this would be a little too close to home!

Fox hills country club?

The Runnymede on Thames is lovely, right on the river and close to Windsor. It's recently reopened after huge refurbishment and is a Warner Hotel now, so the room, breakfast, evening meal, entertainment and most activities are included in the price. It's got a younger vibe than the Warner seaside properties. But obviously, adults only.

Avoid champneys!! Check out the google reviews first. Some people have an ok time but it’s not worth the risk if you want a relaxing break.

South lodge is a lovely spa.

Pennyhill Park might be in budget if you opt for a room, not a suite.

Friends have stayed at the South Downs a Pig hotel and recommended it.

Alexander Hotels have a generous 40% off offer up until 11th Feb - haven’t stayed personally, but the one with Utopia Spa in Sussex shouldn’t be too far to travel to.

When are you looking at going? Nirvana spa are opening a hotel in spring. Spa is amazing with good food and lots to do locally.

One of the Pigs?

We stayed at Highfields spa which is in Surrey. It's an air b and b but you get a little lodge to yourself with a gorgeous bedroom and bathroom plus a games room and dining space upstairs. You also have a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna all to yourself! It was so relaxing and there was some lovely pubs within a few minute walk x

I do so appreciate all the responses. I was awake last night not feeling well and had a little look at south lodge which looks lush.

I'll look at the others this morning

I think we'd go March/april. Not sure it can wait til the warmer weather so if they have outside pools then heated will be best

I was also thinking about ultimate luxury camping. My DH loves creating fire and cooking on it but I'd need the absolute luxury of a proper bed and a washing facilities!!

I think I'd be willing to spend more on this having thought about it. We deserve a nice treat

Friends rave about South Lodge (expensive though). Also heard good things about Spread Eagle and Ockenden Manor. All in Sussex. All have spas and good walks.

Or you can stay over at Rathfiney vineyard if you’re into wine. It’s beautiful there but not much to do other than walking/ eating and drinking
