What you have here is basically 1/3 of a sheet of 9mm MDF and a tube of no nails for £28. You should be able to buy an entire sheet of MDF for cheaper than that at any local timber merchant. They will cut it to these sizes and you will end up with 3 times the amount. I’ve also noticed it is bare MDF so it will need painting, this can be done but it will need several coats and the edges will need a lot of sanding to get them smooth. What is it going onto? Unless it’s a perfectly flat wall it’s not going to look brilliant. You also have to consider the adhesion, even for the amount you’re buying from Amazon I doubt the one tube of no nails they’re supplying is anywhere near enough and again you need to be sure what you’re sticking it to will hold it. Personally, if was doing this sort of job a would be using a nail gun as well as gluing it. I might be wrong but I don’t think they are supplying a dado rail so it’s not going to look identical to the photo. Again this can be bought from your local timber merchant. A jigsaw will cut it no problem.

Another vote for getting this cut at a timber merchants. They'll cut it exactly to size & it will save you loads of time & effort & will be cheaper / no more expensive. I agree with everything the above poster says. I did our hall last year, really pleased with the results & it looks like they are original to our (edwardian) house. Our walls are not very smooth, so I attached thin sheets of MDF to the wall first & then put the strips on top of them. It does take a fair bit of effort with the prep, sanding etc. Only really fiddly bits were working around plug sockets. Measure things out at least twice - ideally draw the pattern on the walls first to check. It's easier to redraw lines than it is to recut mdf :-)

And if going to the local timber merchant seems intimidating or you don't believe there's one local to you, try B&Q. Ours has a cutting service and I just chose which thickness etc of mdf panelling I wanted. You'll need to measure the wall and work out how many pieces and at what size you need, but if you're confident the pre-pack will work for your hallway, you could just give those same measurements.

You could but B&Q charge ridiculous amounts for a sheet of MDF
