To think frequent name changes are okay???

I’m a frequent changer of MN user name. Particularly if Il e commented with details that out together with other posts might make me identifiable IRL.
I know quite a few people who are always trying to ‘find’ people they know on MN. I’m not particularly controversial in opinions for the most part but value my privacy.

Colleague says it’s cheating! And I should keep same name as it’s part of my MN brand…

I understand why but I do miss the humour when people would name change during a thread to suit the topic.

Like a PP I have a few names that I use interchangeably.

This, totally. I was surprised at the vitriol that some posters had for me on a subject. (Although there were some lovely, supportive posters too I hasten to add). And yes, some posters will then go back through your previous posts and throw them into current posts... 🥴 Name change all you want. It's supposed to be an anonymous forum after all.
