Is 5 nights long enough for baby’s first holiday?

Just wondering. The cost of the holiday is nearly 40% more again for an extra 2 nights.

With the flight options we would have 4 full days and then all day at the resort on the 5th day, before flying home in the very late evening

Our baby will be nearly 6 months and it will be her first holiday.

Thanks :)

Personally I wouldn't bring my kids on a very early or late flight, as it would be too disruptive for their sleep patterns.
Would you have late check out/access to room and fridge etc on the last day? Logistics change a lot when you're bringing children on holidays!!!

Unless it’s a holiday with a significant time difference I don’t think you need to factor in the baby at all really! My daughter is just over 8 months old now and we’ve taken her abroad a few times this year, for a long weekend, for a week & then 2 weeks, she’s been none the wiser really and easily transportable at that age. She’s crawling now so would probably be harder now with planes etc as she wants to move. Unless there’s a time difference issue just do whatever length you fancy.

What do you mean will it be long enough? She’s 6 months old…surely you just go for however long you want to go for…?

The baby won't know and won't care! This is a holiday for you, so stay as long as you want to.
Just be prepared for it to be completely and utterly different from your pre children holidays, especially if your baby has, any kind of problems around naps and sleeping...
