WIBU to put my pyjamas on for the rest of Boxing Day?

Have just finished a few hours of cleaning/ putting the bins out so only just had a shower.

Only DH , DD1 and DD2 at home. No family nearby. Boyfriends of DDs not here today.

Have already visited/ hosted likely popper-inner friends over the last few days.

WIBU to put my pyjamas on for the rest of the day?

I got up at about 9am, had a toasted bacon sandwich and tidied the kitchen a bit.
I showered at 12:30 and put fresh pyjamas on.
At 13:30 I ate a whole roast lamb dinner, cold, and straight from the tupperware.
I then had a slice of the cake I made for yesterday's dessert, washed down with a bucks fizz.
I'm now lying on the sofa.
No guilt.

But who cares what strangers think about the clothes you choose to wear in your own house? Confused

If we all said "absolutely not, it's disgusting" would you then remain fully dressed for no reason?

Well, you’re not going to know either way are you? It’s a lighthearted question which you’re free to ignore.

I wasn’t fully dressed at the time, given that I’d just got out of the shower. The decision was whether to go straight to PJs or clothes.

I’ve driven over to my mums for lunch wearing mine with a long coat over - only 15 mins drive but I’m hoping car doesn’t breakdown on way home !

Admirable commitment to the pyjama cause.

@Inertia

She was so shocked I said I didn't care if she came for the walk in her pj's (I was just desperate to get her out the house that I really didn't)

They were fleecy ones and she refused to wear a coat so was very obvious they were pj's.

That’s what Boxing Day is all about!. I’ve had a bath with some new bath stuff I got, put on some new fresh bedding and now I’m chilling with my pyjamas on and a turkey sandwich. It’s the best day of the year.

Long walk early this am...cleared the cobwebs away...jammies as soon as I was home. Cost and comfy...do you 🎄x

Mine are on...
Watching Gavin and Stacey and eating stollen!

Still in mine.

I was in pjs all day yesterday and have got into clean ones after my shower this morning. Nothing like it man. I don't wear them for bed though.

Don't do it op! You know the doorbell will ring the minute you take off your bra! It's Sod's law! 😄😄

I don’t- just feels a bit lazy.

So?

Princessfluffy · 26/12/2024 15:50

Being lazy at Xmas is a good thing. It's a holiday! You do not need to measure your worth in life by your productivity.

I have been in pyjamas since 21:00 on Christmas eve. I sleep in a nightie. Put my cooking pyjamas on when i got up yesterday morning then changed into my nice ones for dinner, cooking ones back on this morning and have just put another pair of nice ones on. I will put outside clothes on Saturday morning as i don't have to go out before then.

Doggymummar · 26/12/2024 15:51

Why did you take them off ?
