He woke up this morning with a limp, painful ball of foot.

Shall I take him to a&e now, or Saturday?

Tomorrow would be a nightmare with a 3 year old with us

Did he do anything to hurt it? Have you checked he still limps when you aren't watching? Can you see any swelling/injury?

Pandasnacks · 19/12/2024 18:07

Why are the options now or Saturday? GP tomorrow is a great option. Does he no what he's done to it?

AhBiscuits · 19/12/2024 18:08

Doesn't sound like an A&E thing to me. Can't you call the doctor tomorrow and take him?

watchuswreckthemic · 19/12/2024 18:10

It doesn't appear to be an accident or an emergency. Talk to GP/111 etc

Ablondiebutagoody · 19/12/2024 18:10

What event is he trying to get out of?

SpinningTops · 19/12/2024 18:13

Why A&E rather than the GP?

Unless he's had some trauma to it and you think he broken something. And then, minor injuries instead of A&E.

He doesn't know how it happened, no visible injury, definitely not putting it on

It's GP tomorrow then if it's bothering him, you can't wait for a&e on a Saturday to avoid your 3 year old being with you. Hopefully it will ease off by tomorrow though so you can just monitor at home

Littletreefrog · 19/12/2024 18:19

I would just get it elevated and iced get him to take some ibuprofen and see how he is tomorrow morning.

Make an appointment with the GP. A&E will be a long wait for a sore foot, given that it's not an emergency.
