What do you do if you want a Christmas jumper but every single one makes you feel like a volcano ready to erupt😂??? Every year I search for a sleeveless one to put over a white shirt or something, but I can't find anything!! A proper one, not just Fair Isle - I want Father Christmas, I want snowmen, I want Christmas puddings and Christmas trees. I just don't want to boil!! Anyone seen any?

There are some sizes left in this men’s acrylic number but I think maybe a cotton sweatshirt might be better for you!

Asda have some decent looking T shirts, I expect TU do them too
Saves rolling your sleeves up too

Have a Christmas scarf instead.

Last couple of years I’ve gone for a sweatshirt variety, since anything wool makes me itch, flush up and boil to death!

I've ,ade the switch this year - and yes it is age related 😂

How about a t shirt? You can always put that over a shirt.

I've never seen any tank top ones that are designed to be worn over shirts tbh.

There's a market for them though!

Go to Poundland that has a large clothes section. There is a t-shirt with gingerbread men, candy canes and other Xmas themed stuff for a fiver.

Asda had some very thin (ie cheap!) Xmas sweatshirts, and also a surprising number of Christmas t-shirts, both long sleeved and short sleeved.

Sainsbury's do Christmas shirts/blouses

Comtesse · 15/12/2024 13:29

Joules have really nice long sleeved Christmas t shirts - bought one from Vinted this year!

I've had a huge heat intolerance since I was 16 (now peri-menopausal) and know this problem very well! I only own one jumper and cannot wear it in the house, or at all unless it's minus-something. I've never been able to wear a Christmas jumper.

People in shops see me sweating (shops are the worst for me heat-wise) and presume I'm some sort of addict, it's awful.

I have a naice tasteful cashmere one which I get on eBay for £20 it's lovely and light and not sweaty or static or itchy

I have a Christmas blouse I bought from Matalan a few years ago. I can put a jumper over it if I’m unsure of the temp where I’m going and just take the jumper off if I get too hot.

I feel you!

I got a cotton tunic dress last year (Santa pattern!), with a sparkly cardigan I can easily take off if I'm too hot.

Or you could get a t shirt, seen plenty around this year
