To wake the baby?

Baby G is 4 weeks old tomorrow. She’s very sleepy! We essentially work on a wake-change-feed-nap cycle with baby max 20 mins of something slightly different eg. we did a baby yoga video the other day.
does that sound typical? Should I be encouraging longer times awake? Or just wait until she’s naturally awake longer, sometimes she will lay on me with her eyes open but she’s clearly drowsy and nodding off so thus far I have let her fall asleep but I’m worried I’m missing something and should be engaging her more??
any tips welcome - and any activity ideas for those awake times ☺️ thanks!

YABU - wake her
YANBU - let her sleep

ETA - feeding plenty, wet and dirty nappies and sleeping well at night.

Lucky you! She's still tiny so, as long as her sleep in the day isn't interfering with night sleep, let he be.

Is she gaining weight ok? Plenty of wet/dirty nappies? If so then I'd let her sleep

this might give you an indication @Olive96

Embrace the sleepy time, it will change.

Congratulations on your daughter 👶🏼 💐💐

Just enjoy it, she will change so quickly. They don’t even know the difference between night and day so don’t worry about disturbing her night sleep.

Get out for walks in the day if you can and it will all fall into place.

They don't call it the "fourth trimester" for nothing. Assuming your HV and GP have no concerns, enjoy!
