How much would you expect to pay for a home made Christmas pudding for 8?

Friend makes Christmas puddings. I said I’d buy one from her, and she said she’d drop it off at the weekend. But she didn’t say how much it would be, and I didn’t like to ask (ridiculous, I know). How much would you expect to pay for a large home made pud?

Would be worth about a tenner so I guess they'd charge twenty.

Fo you mean that the ingredients would cost a tenner? Because that's a bit different from it being "worth" a tenner! Time and equipment have value too.

How much was the pudding in the end, OP?

Definitely over £20.
I'm not in the SE, in fact at the opposite end of the UK.

My dd usually makes one for her friendship group, there's 7 of them and there's usually enough left for us. She pays about £25-£30 depending on ingredients she might already have. We're in Yorkshire so not a pricey area.
She's not doing it this year due to the cost.
