DNA is DeoxyriboNucleic Acid not D and A. Although I prefer your version Grin

I looked into it but I'm worried about them having my records. Once they have it, it's in the public sphere.

You don't have to pay a monthly fee if you don't want to use the rest of the services.

I'm also wary about my DNA profile being in the public domain. Not that I've done anything dodgy but I presume once it's done, it's done and there for all to see.

I bought the dna testing yesterday for my dd. It was £49 with three months of worldwide membership. After that I won't be paying for more access. Hopefully she will have done what she wants to do!

I agree that there is something a bit unnerving about having your dna in the system like that.

However

my mums friend who is seventy and whose wife has died has recently been contacted by a daughter he had absolutely no idea about. He was engaged 55 years ago and the woman broke it off and married someone else. Now he has this daughter that he had absolutely no idea about. She's lovely and it's completely transformed his life.
