Always drink posts on here.
Currently 2 posts about mums drinking at school pick up time or similar. Shall I judge a mum that smells of drink?
The other day on here did you watch the programme about binge drinking?

Out of the hundreds of channels we have got and all the entertainment why would I watch that?
Númerous other posts about people drinking too much?
It's horrible. Why do people want to keep drinking and running there's and others people's lives? Get a life that dosent involve 🙄keep getting pissed.

Nobody says did you see David Attenborough a lovely programme about nature or something similar?
Just did anyone watch binge drinking wonderful not.

OP posts:

Sorry but it honestly sounds like you’ve had a couple yourself reading that 🤣

This.
But, although raw, life works better without alcohol.
(Especially after certain age).
Apparently, in some women (not men), the enzyme in the liver responsible for breaking up booze disappears! Must have happened here.
😳😂

I’m 52 and have found the opposite. I don’t actually drink much at all, ever, but alcohol certainly has less of an effect on my these days.

missmollygreen · 01/12/2024 15:12

That seemed like a brain fart. Have you been drinking, OP?

Dontcallmescarface · 01/12/2024 15:16

Blimey Op, even your thread title sounds like it's slurring.

MrMucker · 01/12/2024 15:31

80s/90s clubber here. Hi to all the others.
God I miss the days when I could say to people "Great party got completely trollied" and then it was the party people wanted to talk about, not the alcohol.

Shiningout · 01/12/2024 15:32

I think compared to the amount of people in the UK who drink and have alcohol issues, there aren't that many threads about it overall.

Utter bollocks and quite weird considering you've chosen to start this thread, rather than one about David Attenborough 🤣🤣

You think that a binge drinking programme is the only tv programme people talk about? Confused Besides, it seems a bit odd to on the one hand criticise people for having a drinking lifestyle and on the other hand criticise people for watching a documentary raising awareness of the problem, which might encourage them to stop!

This is what I was thinking.

Did you think the binge drinking documentary was celebrating binge drinking?
