To ask you guys to give me some positive news?

Just as I've said cheer me up with some positive stuff !

I got a phone call yesterday to tell me I got the job! I really thought I'd messed up in the interview & that I wouldn't get it, but apparently not!
After an extremely shit year, this has put the most enormous smile on my face.

My Autisic, shy, highly anxious 11 year old performed a starring role in her school production tonight. This was a huge deal for her and not something I could have imagined her doing a year or two ago. I'm biased obviously, but she was AMAZING! So proud of her.

I've nothing as meaningful as some of these . However after years of hiding away and hating going out ,although I'll be fine once I'm there. I told myself I have to say yes ( even if I don't want to) been invited to 3 parties and then a fourth but it is on the same night as another one. I accepted them all but then tried to talk myself out of it. But I'm going !

I was given a box of Belgian chocolates today for helping a neighbour.
They are well nice.

My other 92 year old neighbours and myself are baking pistachio biscuits tomorrow.
They found an old recipe and we bought the ingredients.

I think mine is that I may be emerging from a very dark and difficult cloud. I definitely feel a bit lighter and am hopeful that I’m over the worst. Ds and I played some board games in front of the fire this evening while dh was cooking dinner and I felt some contentment.

Went to our first parents evening for our DD today. She is happy and doing well, I'm very proud of her ☺️

My incredibly stroppy middle teen has been curled up on the sofa with me watching movies

Blimey! Mine just brings my parcels round!
