Disneyland Paris on a budget?

My son is turning 8 and I really want to take him to Disneyland Paris but it’s so expensive! I only did a quick search and it showed me for park tickets (1 day only), flights and hotel for one night will be over 2k! Any ideas how we can do it cheaper? Or is this standard? Family of 3.

cowboy cookout isn’t a buffet.

marvel buffet was about €50 in June.

Wonderful I wasn’t there in June. But thanks for your input.

I’ve just looked at Eurostar and it’s actually cheaper to fly there. I’m shocked at Eurostar prices

Eurostar takes you right outside the park though. So you have to factor how you're getting from the airport to the park, it's about 20 miles away.

Yeah, you can't expect to book a holiday 3 weeks out and get any deals I'm afraid. That's why the price is so high.

@fanaticalfairy

Not any more it doesn't - you have to connect at Lille or Paris for a local train. That said we came from Paris and it was pretty easy. Maybe not so much with young kids though.

Unless you are committed Disney folks honestly I’d give it a swerve

I went with my 8 and 10 yos earlier this year. I was quite impressed by how well set up it was to basically squeeze every single last euro out of you.

Efteling in the Netherlands OTOH was just fantastic. Granted not as easy to get to, but just wonderful. And not the biggest rip off known to humanity. We all loved it

That sounds very expensive. We drove, but got three nights on site at Sequoia inc the meal plan for 2.6 for 2 adults and 2 kids in October half term

I saw this today, kids up to 11. Granted it's from Edinburgh but I would imagine you can get it cheaper from England
