How much is a men's haircut in a barbers in London?

Not a fancy salon, a regular barbers that the average Joe goes to

It's a more skilled cut. I've known plenty of people that can trim back/sides with a trimmer, but to do a decent fade exactly how the customer wants takes skill. It's a gradual blend hence the name.

And it does really need done fortnightly as really short cuts grow out so quick. I think to keep it always looking perfect you'd probs need it done weekly. It's defo lost its sharpness after a fortnight.

DH says £15-20 is standard at the walk in barbers (non-trendy) around us in South London zone 2

We left London a few months ago and it was £20(ish) at the walk in barber or £47 at the hair salon over the road from the barber.

We went in to ask about prices in the salon since they didn’t display any. They said “£47, is that ok for us to book you in?” and DH just said “absolutely not, no thank you.” I didn’t dare ask how much they wanted to charge for my hair.

£15 - 20 around here - z2 north. I am sure you could pay a lot more in the west end.

SW London. Seems to be about £15 for a super cheap place. About £25 for mid level barbers for 30 mins and about £40 for 45 mins with a high level barber who does all the fades and tapers etc. Beards would be extra on top of that. It just depends on the experience and cut that people want.

Student son paid £25 in Camden last week for a walk in. He doesn't own clippers.

They cut it really well.

Now I'm curious how much is it outside London? Surely it's similar range?
