I don't understand the zoo keepers and the zoo animals

I'm watching Peppa pig with my nephew, it's been a long long time since I've watched it. It's an episode where the play group go to the zoo. To see the animals. They are animals. The keepers are animals. Where's the line between talking animals and zoo or pet animals? Why is there both a vet and a doctor when surely the vet would suffice? Why is Peppa the same size as Rebecca?

There is no answer 😁

Also why do the pig family eat bacon?

The same reason goofy walks Pluto and Arthur wears his headphones like this. Don't overthink it

There’s an adult cartoon sitcom on Netflix called BoJack Horseman where some characters are humans and others are sort of anthropomorphic animals. But they ostensibly live in the normal world where meat is served at restaurants etc. They don’t really address this issue until quite far into the series. There’s a harrowing episode that involves a chicken farm but it’s superbly done.

They must be bone conducting headphones. A great invention!

At least in Ben and Holly they have very clear rules no lose ends.
I miss Mr Bloom and Andys animals. Such simple times.

Love love bojack horseman but only watch it when I'm super depressed 🤭

😄😄 no idea but it's entertaining

Same issues with Bing. Why is Arlo the cat small and shaped like a normal cat when all the other animals are large like Bing. Just don't question it.

ErrolTheDragon · 06/11/2024 10:36

I've never seen Peppa pig but is it like in Narnia where there's normal animals and talking animals? There's a bit in The Silver Chair where they're having dinner with the giants, and they're appalled when they realise the venison was from a talking stag, it was tantamount to cannibalism for Puddleglum.

Mrs Pig's bikini. Have you seen a sow's nipples? Have you? She'd need more than one top.

mondaytosunday · 06/11/2024 12:11

Even my kids queried this when they watched it.

Used to wonder why there were never any grownups supervising the Peanuts gang (I know there is occasionally a parent in the house squawking at them).

The Wind in the Willows messes with my brain - a mole, a water-rat and a toad can drive a caravan, with a horse pulling it and a pet canary in a cage, both of whom can talk? The toad is able to pass himself off as a human by donning a dress, but the other 2 live in a hole in the riverbank?!
