When it comes to the week end I just think, why can't we have beans on toast for supper/tea once and a while???!! Just sometimes! But dh has such an enormous appetite that some great galloping piece of protein must always be slaughtered prepared and served up for him to feel satisfied!

When he's away ds and I have soup and snacks and salad etc not such great MEALS all the time!

Forgive moan I just seem to spend all my time buying food, preaparing it clearing it up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Doesn't sound tight.
She could pay you back in different ways even if not into cooking.

Yes. All the time

I quite like it,but trying to do this and a f/t job with dh away is sooo draining. I am fucked even before I sit down at my desk.

That sounds so hard moondog.

Yes she could contribute but she doesn't! She wants to be loved and made a fuss of and I always have been one of those who do. She's not happy enough to be generous much at the moment. She's waiting for her life to get better and then she's gonna be generous......... I sound horrible!

Note the 'had' bit.
Is it the same womaN?

lol moondog. we've been friends since we were students together many years ago. It's just that her life seems to have stopped and she's not doing that much to change it and it is SO frustrating. But I am very fond of her. I just hate mid week entertaining and week ends can be hard too at the moment. All this moaning would disappear if she just said "What can I bring?" once and a while. If she just said "Could I bring some pudding?"

moan moan moan!
