To want some new Lego?

Just had an email from Lego and this was on it but DH says I'm not allowed it even though it looks fab .

How can I persuade him that it's a necessary addition to my collection? The DSs might enjoy it eventually!

That looks cool. I bought DD Ferrari lego a couple of years ago but really it's mine and she's not allowed to touch it.

Oh, we had the ferrari. We spent ages putting it together, then it fell to pieces. The worst one was Hogwarts castle. It took me three days to put it together, it took three minutes for it to fall to bits. I'm never going to do that again! Most of the pieces in the new boxes you find you've already got from another set. We did like the Indiana Jones stuff but we've got most of it from other sets apart from the whip, £44 for a whip is expensive, I can't justify buying the box. Indiana Jones is actually a fireman's head from the Lego city fire, he just has a hat on. The skeletons are from Harry Potter and exo force. There is a harry potter head (the top web site in my thread above) in the box aswell.

I DD has the podium, F1 car and pitlane and the lorry thing with another car.
It was expensive if I remember but I'm a huge F1 fan and just had to have it.
The actual playing with lego came in bags from the charity shop!
I find that if it's getting built into different things all the time there's no point in having a set really, although I'd buy her a specific set if she really wanted
