To suspect postpartum problems?

I am almost 10 weeks postpartum and have recently been feeling a dragging sensation occasionally, especially when going to the toilet, as well as a random burning sensation (not when peeing). Me and my husband have both felt a hard lump inside my vagina which I suspected was a prolapse, although I have had a speculum examination and the nurse said she couldn’t see anything or feel anything. Has anyone experienced similar? The nurse suspected it was just weakened pelvic floor. Must add no issues with leaking urine.

Self refer to pelvic health physio/ womens health physio. They will diagnose properly (a speculum is not involved and you need to be standing up)!

Ask for a referral to a gynaecologist. I think a lump needs checked by a doctor.

@Stillattherestaurant1 that sounds exactly like my friends description of her rectal prolapse

Yes this is what I suspected it could be as I have been experiencing haemorrhoids as well

Yes this makes a lot of sense although I can feel the lump lying down but she said she couldn’t. She kept saying she is trained in this kind of thing.

Sounds like it could be a rectocele. I was checked it this after I had my daughter - I had an X-ray with barium inserted.
